Compassion Meditation

Ā I feel that now, more than ever, we need active practices of compassion. Let's remember thatĀ compassion is not permission, nor does it replace or negate anger. Compassion is, at its core, a desire for others not to suffer, whether you like them or not.Ā Compassion can exist alongside anger, grief, action and boundaries, and can hold multiple truths at once. Allowing all of this to exist at the same time is helping me navigate these times, and to understand that anger and hatred are not the same. I recorded this practice for you if you'd like to join me in an active compassion practice. I hope you find it heart-opening.Ā
